Each year, nearly 2000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in Singapore. For healthcare staff, counsellors and volunteers who work closely with breast cancer survivors in healthcare institutions and cancer organizations, having accurate knowledge on breast cancer and the latest evidence-based treatment is extremely valuable in their interaction with survivors and in providing genuine support.
Breast Reconstruction Awareness Singapore (BRAS) is pleased to organize an informative symposium titled “Breast Cancer and Reconstruction: Your Questions Answered” on Saturday, 27 October 2018, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month (program below). You are cordially invited to attend this comprehensive symposium, which will cover the basics of breast cancer and the latest treatment and reconstructive options. Invited speakers include oncologists, surgeons, nurses and a survivor to share her breast cancer journey. Renown actress and director, Ms Beatrice Chia, will also be joining us to share what she learnt about breast cancer, after starring in TV series BRA.
